Writer and fitness specialist with over 10 years of experience worldwide

Hello! I am a writer and fitness specialist from the UK, focusing on real stories, fitness trends, content strategy, and social media.

I began my career in television drama, where I worked in the script and production departments for the BBC and ITV Studios. Over an eight-year period I held various roles including script and storyline researcher, production coordinator, and post-production coordinator, and worked on shows including the iconic Coronation Street and medical drama Doctors.

A part-time job as a fitness instructor ignited my passion for the fitness industry, and in late 2012 I relocated to Auckland, New Zealand, where I joined the group fitness department at Les Mills International. Between 2013 and 2018 I wrote scripts on fitness trends, training content and assisted with casting for new fitness presenters.

In 2018 I joined the marketing team at Les Mills, where I began looking after the content strategy for the 130K global instructor audience. In this capacity I am the editor and regular writer for the monthly brand newsletter, Tribe Talk, and I have managed to deliver content to almost 300% of target through strategic audience targeting.

As a fitness instructor for 10+ years, I have presented on Les Mills Masterclass videos for LES MILLS GRIT and BODYATTACK, and have also taught classes in the legendary Les Mills Auckland City gym in BODYPUMP and LES MILLS CORE.

When I’m not at the gym or my laptop, I can be found baking (with an astounding amount of enthusiasm over ability), going on disastrous dates (in the name of research for my blog), or attempting to look like I know how to surf.
